Olive Grove apartment is a bright, modern, one bedroom, self-catering holiday home of 50 sq/mtrs. It is set on the edge of the olive groves near a small hillside village, half way between Kalamata and Stoupa in the Messinia region of the Peloponnese. With the sea to the west (so you should get some spectacular sunsets) and the Taigetos mountains to the east you have superb all round views. There are excellent tavernas only 5 minutes drive down the hill in the charming fishing village of Kitries, and the gently sloping Santava beach is just 5kms away.
This is rural Greece at its best, where the villagers wave to you as they pass by on their way to work in the olive groves or to tend their sheep and goats. The nightlife here is listening to the cicadas and watching the lights of the fishing boats in the bay.
This beautiful area of the Peloponnese begs to be explored, with the historic sites of Mystra, Messini and Olympia all easily reached for a day trip, and walking the Taigetos gorges is not to be missed.
